Our Programmes

Track Club

The track club is our main programme which has been running 2008. It is for girls and boys aged 11+ who want to learn how to sprint. Whether you just want to start, or you are more experienced, we have a group for you. You can read more about our Track Club here as well as seeing what we do on FB.

Annual membership (£20 for juniors, £25 for seniors) is paid upon registration and than annually on the 1st April each year.

Annual membership fees cover athlete registration with Athletics Northern Ireland, public liability insurance, ability to register and compete at NI & Ulster Championship Competitions, discounts on athletics NI's website and an athlete profile on Power of 10 website.

Monthly training fees start at £40. This is to cover coaching, facility and equipment costs.

The Track Club develops:
👉 Drills on how to sprint and accelerate correctly
👉 Stretches that improve range and quality of movement
👉 Lower and upper body conditioning including core conditioning
👉 Friendship, teamwork and belonging


Speed School

This is a very popular, fun and in demand programme.

This programme is specifically designed for young people going through the transitional stages of growth (P7 to year 14). It provides the foundations of physical fitness and movement competency, in order to support the safe participation in all sports and physical activities. This is suitable for young people from a range of sports including: football, rugby, hockey, GAA, gymnastics, netball, cricket...
Monthly training fees are £40. This is to cover coaching, facility and equipment costs.
This programme focuses on developing:
👉 Athletic Motor Skills
👉 Fundamental Movement Skills including improving posture and mobility
👉 Lower and upper body conditioning including core conditioning
👉 Movement skills for acceleration, max velocity running, deceleration, and change of direction

All training sessions will comply with the latest guidelines from the NI Executive and Sport NI regarding Covid - 19. Athletes are requested to ensure that they come to training with clean hands, and are ready to train. Hand sanitiser gel will be available during each session if required.
