Return to Sport Pre-Registration

A return to outside sport is just around the corner!

We are planning to resume structured outside training on the week commencing the12th April. All training will comply with the restrictions and guidance from the Executive and sport National Governing Bodies.

The programmes below are a great way to get young people active again, to get them moving, and to have fun, whilst being challenged and supported to learn new skills. We also have programmes that are performance related.

With a number of these programmes already pre-booked from before lockdown, there are limited spaces. So, if you'd like to have your child on one of these programmes, please register your interest using the pre-registration form below.


Track Club

The track club is our main programme which has been running for over 4 years now. It is for girls and boys aged 11+ who want to learn how to sprint. Whether you just want to start, or you are more experienced, we have a group for you. You can read more about our Track Club here as well as seeing what we do on FB.

Annual membership is £30, which is due on the 1st April each year.

Annual membership fees are for our affiliation with Athletics Northern Ireland. Membership fees include: public liability insurance, NI & Ulster Championship Competitions, discounts on athletics NI's website, athlete profile on Power of 10 website and athlete registration card.

Monthly training fees start at £32. This is to cover coaching, facility and equipment costs.

The Track Club develops:
👉 Drills on how to sprint and accelerate correctly
👉 Stretches that improve range and quality of movement
👉 Lower and upper body conditioning including core conditioning
👉 Friendship, teamwork and belonging


Athlete Development Programme

This is a very popular, fun and in demand programme.

This programme is specifically designed for young people going through the transitional stages of growth (P7 to year 14). It provides the foundations of physical fitness and movement competency, in order to support the safe participation in all sports and physical activities. This is suitable for young people from a range of sports including: football, rugby, hockey, GAA, gymnastics, netball, cricket...
Monthly training fees are £32. This is to cover coaching, facility and equipment costs.
This programme focuses on developing:
👉 Athletic Motor Skills
👉 Fundamental Movement Skills including improving posture and mobility
👉 Lower and upper body conditioning including core conditioning
👉 Movement skills for acceleration, max velocity running, deceleration, and change of direction


Speed for Team Sports

This is a specialist programme for team sport athletes aged 14 years to adult .

On this 6-week program we use video analysis, technical drills and structured feedback to make players faster. We believe that everyone can be faster, we show you how. You will feel the improvements yourself which we can back up with real data, video and biomechanics.

This programme is delivered 1-to-1 or up to maximum of 4 people at a time. You can read more about this programme here.


Return to Speed for the Rehabbing Athlete

This is a specialist programme that is delivered 1-to-1. It is for team sport athletes who have suffered from soft tissue or muscle damage and are now ready to reintroduce speed into their game. Players who have also been away from sport for a while will benefit from this programme.

Sessions are delivered 2-3 times a week, typically over an 8 week period.

Sessions are progressive and are aligned to the needs of the athlete. Moving from control & strength, power and plyometrics, linear running, speed & agility to sport performance.  

Athletes completing this programme are faster, stronger and more confident in their abilities. 

Sessions are fun, challenging and engaging.

All training sessions will comply with the latest guidelines from the NI Executive and Sport NI regarding Covid - 19. Athletes are requested to ensure that they come to training with clean hands, and are ready to train. Hand sanitiser gel will be available during each session if required.
